Vitamin B-6 promotes the conversion of glutamate to the inhibitory amino acid GABA. This radically shifts the ration from excitation to inibition.

Indications: Consider for carpal tunnel syndrome, joint pain, trigger finger (use with raw pecans), extremity burning or tingling, light and MSG sensitivity, low liver transaminases, poor dream recall, and as a synergist to magnesium and zinc. P-5-P is also utilized in the manufacturing of L-DOPA & other neurotransmitters such as dopamine and serotonin.
